SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a sassa status substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
